Jeff Schmidt

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions
Round Rock, TX

Jeff Schmidt has been called a difference maker a coach, mentor, and teacher who doesn’t just change how people sell…he changes how they think. Most sales teams don’t have a performance problem they have a thinking problem, and that’s exactly what Jeff has been solving for more than 40 years. As Senior Vice President of Professional Development at the RAB, Jeff works with sales teams and leaders around the world to transform how they think, communicate, and perform.

Before stepping into this role, Jeff lived it. From his early days on-air to roles as a seller, sales manager, market manager, and executive, he has worked in the trenches, in the boardroom, and in the C-suite experiencing firsthand the moments where results actually matter. Jeff often jokes that his mom wanted him to be a preacher or a lawyer…so he became a salesperson which explains a lot about how he shows up today.

What keeps Jeff relevant and in demand is his relentless commitment to learning. He’s a student of the business, constantly reading, studying trends, and embracing new technology, including artificial intelligence, to understand where the world is going and how to help others stay ahead of it. Jeff doesn’t just present he engages. Through conversation, interaction, and real-world application, he brings ideas to life in a way that’s authentic, practical, and immediately usable.

In fact, people who attend Jeff’s sessions often say, “I will never be the same after this class.” That’s the impact. Jeff has an uncanny ability to simplify the complex, connect on a human level, and turn ideas into action. At the core of his work is a powerful mission: to help people believe in themselves, build confidence in their abilities, and achieve even greater levels of success.

His philosophy is simple: you don’t change results by pushing harder you change results by thinking differently. Jeff lives that philosophy every day: Think Big. Make Big Things Happen.
