Media Excel has premiered the new HERO 6000 product line. In addition to its powerful software-based Live and VoD encoding/transcoding solution, HERO 6000 adopts hardware acceleration for fabulously improved speed and quality.

The new HERO natively supports all adaptive delivery technologies, including Low Latency CMAF, as well as synchronized outputs from multiple camera inputs and ad-insertion workflows. HERO supports real-time HEVC compression up to UHD/4K60p and 8K with HDR for on-premise, virtual, and cloud architectures.
